I recently had Renaissance Electric and Power Systems replace a 200 A panel and install a whole house surge protector. The service was excellent. It is a small company and the owner performs the initial service. He was very prompt, courteous and professional. He completed the work in under the estimated time. Also he left no mess behind for me to clean up. I would definitely use them in the future. He beat all other estimates.

Because of the response and professional presentation we experienced on the first project we called Renaissance Electric and Power Systems again when we had an electrical emergency in the house recently. The power went out in two of our bedrooms, one where my father sleeps so he can be on a feeding tube and oxygen. Eric was booked solid but was able to work with another customer to move some things around to come and fix this issue. He was able to diagnose the issue and repair the problem. I highly recommend Renaissance Electric and Power Systems for home electrical projects.

I don't write reviews too often, but I was very pleased with my experience with Eric from Renaissance Electric. I had him come out to install a transfer switch I purchased new online. He reviewed what he needed to prior to install then professionally installed the transfer switch, tested it with me and made sure I understood how it worked. Excellent service and will use for all my electrical needs in the future.

I had a GFI outlet in a bathroom which had tripped. Eric was very thorough in investigating the problem at the outlet and breaker panel. The source of the trouble was some bad wiring in the switch on that circuit. He fixed the wiring and replaced the GFI outlet and switch, and power was restored to the outlet. Eric is very professional, knowledgeable and explained everything. He actually called and arrived ahead of schedule (even in the winter weather). I would not hesitate to use Renaissance again in the future.

We used Renaissance for new electrical in our sunroom we are redoing. Eric was our electrician and helped us with everything we needed. He upgraded our panel box first, then installed recessed lighting and put in corresponding switches. All in a very timely manner. Extremely knowledgeable and willing to answer questions and explain why things are needed and what it means. He was always upfront about timelines and cost.
